We have received an invitation to attend the Kings Point Scout Camporee.  For those of you who have never attended, this is a camporee put on by the Eagle Scout Association at Kings Point (aka the U.S.Merchant Marine Academy).  Attendance is limited by invitation and Troops must have a contact at the Academy in order to receive an invitation.  Mr. Cordrey, former Scoutmaster and graduate, has been able to obtain an invitation for our Troop.

This is a great trip and one that we don't do very often, so it may be the only opportunity for some scouts.

The date for the trip is April 27 - 29.  We will be leaving earlier than normal (probably around 1pm).

It is not too late to attend.  Permission Slip will be on the webpage.
ps. - There is a chance of a group leaving @ 4:00 pm Friday nite...
