Troop 919 is planning a trip to: Gettysburg National Park Gettysburg PA. The trip will begin: Friday May 15, 2009 at 3:00pm (discussed at meeting), and will end: Sunday May 17, 2009 at 2:30pm (approximate time). Departure and arrival will be from Church parking lot.
All scouts will be required to be in full (Class A) uniform for departure and arrival.

The troop suggests that each scout Be Prepared with the following equipment:
Sleeping Bag ....................Troop Sweatshirt
Ground Pad ......................Troop T-shirt
Rain Gear - Poncho ...........Camp Clothing (2 extra changes)
Camp shoes (sneakers) .....Backpack (for day hike)
Extra socks (2 pair - min) ..Flashlight
Coat (warm) .....................Personal care items
Canteen ..........................Pocket knife
Hiking Boots ..................Scout Manual

                                              The cost of the trip will be picked up by troop. Food will be planned, purchased, and prepared by Patrol.

In consideration of the benefits to be derived, we expressly waive all claims against Troop 919, St. Catherine of Siena and the DelMarVa and National Council of the Boy Scouts of America, or their representatives in connection with, or incident to, this event. He is in good physical health, unless noted otherwise on the reverse side of this page. In the event of an emergency, I hereby authorize trained medical personnel to treat my son.
