District Camporee


Date: Oct. 10, 11, 12, 2008

Place: DuPont Estate at Granogue

Theme:  B.S.A. Emergency Preparedness Award -

          1. Participate in creating an emergency plan for your Troop's Scouting activities. Be sure you know the details of this plan.
          2. Earn the First Aid or Emergency Preparedness merit badge.
          3. With your troop, including adult leaders, participate in Emergency Preparedness training conducted by community emergency Preparedness agencies.

Scouts will need to complete requirements 1 and 2 as pre-work. Scouts may be prepared by reviewing the First Aid skills in their Handbook and First Aid Merit Badge book as they will be using some of these skills at the camporee.
 
 

Cost:  $23 = $13 (District fee) + $10 (food)
