Subject:  Open House and, taking place here at Carousel Park on Sunday, September 16th

On Sunday September 16th, Carousel Park is having a Bull Riding event. They are asking for help from Scouts troops. We would like to get a few troops to sign up to help them park the cars in the fields. Police will be at the road entrances.  This can be a service for boys or a troop.

We are in need of volunteers to direct visitors to / from parking areas nearest to Limestone Road, throughout the day.  These folks will then be transported by wagons down to the office / barn area, where the majority of activities will take place.  Wagons will run continuously from 10:30 until 3:00, then at the conclusion of the Bull Riding show, as folks head for home.

I was hoping that Troops or boys needing service hours would help and possibly other members of their Troop might offer such assistance.  Should you be able to help, we would look for a commitment between the hours of 10am and 5pm and any segment therein would be appreciated.  We figured uniforms would make the most sense and that we can provide reflective over-vests.  Such an opportunity would also permit you to engage folks about Scouting and you own experience camping here in the park (kind of downplay the "special permission" part).

Let me know if this is something that might be possible and how many of your folks it could involve.  I'm hoping to nail down particulars as soon as possible.
